But we're moving in a matter of days and it may be too soon. Just in case, I checked out what tickets would cost to San Jose. Looks like the flights from our new town would be tiring but doable.

We've taken several Dec 14 cruises. Our over 21 daughter's birthday is that week. Both were Caribbean so could be different, but very few if any children. One time a large group from California on board. The other the entire sales team of SD. can't imagine either one of those in Costa Rica but either way you aren't traveling by air on the worst travel days. Sounds like fun.
