For the craps players

Just wanted to let all of you know that I found that the Celebrity Silhouette had 3x, 4x, 5x odds on their craps table. But.. it was also a $10 minimum for the length of the cruise. It went almost empty for the cruise since at $10,your bankroll can go pretty fast for a casual cruise gambler.

I found the 3/4/5 odds a pleasant surprise from the RCL 1x odds and the Carnival 2x odds.

Decent odds but poor management decision. The casino would have had more action and made more money had they set the table minimum at $5.

I cruised on the Silhouette for twelve nights in May and they had a constant $10 minimum game.

Because of the lack of players, I talked to the casino manager about lowering to $5 but she said $10 was the policy...bad business.

The interesting side on the3X-4X-5X odds game is that their Maximum limit of $300 applies to the front line or flat bet...you can back it up with free odds of $900 4-10/$1200 5-9/$1500 6-8. If you took full odds on the max (which I did on several monster hands) the payoff is $2,100 (7 x front line) regardless of what number rolled.

Celebrity deals a decent game for a cruise ship.

I too asked them to lower it, but they said no. I agree, bad business. I wasn't betting max bets but I did play with one guys that was and was amazed at how much odds they let him put down behind his flat bet and ask about the maximum. They told me the same thing, the max only applies to the flat bet, you can then put max odds down behind that max flat bet. I agree it was the best run craps game as far as that goes that I have seen on a cruise ship. The only other line I have been on that offer 3/4/5 was NCL.. not sure if they still do as that cruise was 5 years ago.
