Please suggest things to do in St Thomas

This is our first time in St Thomas so I have no idea what to do. We will be on the beach in Half Moon Cay and the Margaritaville pool in Grand Turk so we don't want to just go to a beach. We like to souvenir shop for a little while so I think walking the mile into town from the cruise port should be okay but what else can we do???

First of all read the many threads here to get ideas and then ask more specific questions folks can help with. Shopping downtown is popular, you can walk or taxi there and see some history as well. Island tours include the sightseeing, shopping, and beach time if you want that. The zip line is very popular and you can cool off at the Magic Ice exhibit while downtown.

There are just a ton of options on STT, and going to St John is another great option.

Check out Sunny Liston's tours. You will have time to shop, sight see and go to the beach. St. Thomas has a lot to do, but with limited time and it being your first time there, I would do a tour.
