Cab Fare Fort Lauderdale to Miami

Does anyone know about how much cab fare is from Fort Lauderdale airport to the Miami pier? I am cruising out of Miami but airfare is so much cheaper to Fort Lauderdale.

we have always taken cruise shuttle from FLL to MIA just because of distant. Always paranoid something may happen, at least on shuttle it is cruise line contractor. Cost on this was $25-30pp roundtrip. Enjoy.

We got a limo for 33 per person round trip. We used http://www.larryslimo.com a cab will cost you about 70 dollars one way.

We took a cab last year and due to construction and a closed road we sat on highway for a very long time. Our fare was $70 and our hotel was half way between FL and Miami!! Those shuttle fares sound really good to me.

Another option, particularly if you will be staying in the area for a bit of time is a car rental. You can usually pick it up at one location and drop it off at another.

 

We try to go a day early if our schedule permits and then we rent a car at the airport and there is a non-airport drop off location with a shuttle to the pier (usually Port Everglades for us). The cost of a rental for a day is under $50.00.

We found ourselves in a unique situation last year. Our ship left Miami but came back to Fort Lauderdale. The ship was busing people back to their cars in Miami! We drove to a car rental palce, where we could leave our car -$5 a day. then we rented a car from them - it was like $25- and took it to their Miami location. This place used to give free rides to port but now will call a cab - that's about $25. Maybe you could rent Hertz, Avis, etc. at airport and turn in in Miami. then check cab fare to port.
