Grandeur of the Seas / Coco Cay tender question...

Does anyone know how they are handling the tender to Coco Cay? Is it ticketed or first come, first serve? If ticketed, do they hand them out the night before or that morning? Thanks in advance for your help! :)

Coco Cay has always been first come, first served.

Not at all. A line might form between tenders, but those tenders hold a lot of people. I've done it many times on the Majesty, which carries more passengers than Grandeur, and it has never been chaotic. You'll be fine.

Not really. We've done Coco Cay on Freedom with over 3000 passengers and it was no big deal at all. The tenders hold a large number of guests and they run continuously.

They have a bunch of tenders there and they hold allot of people. When one is full and they pull away, another pulls along side the ship to load up. Its pretty organized and as long as the sea cooperates and you can actually get to Coco Cay, you will love it there. The snorkelling is good to very good and I just love the picnic food and ribs they serve at lunch.

I'm very excited to check out the island. I love Half Moon Cay (Carnival's private island) so Im curious to see how this one compares. Thanks again everyone for your assistance!

nahh. She's too small to cause chaos. we waited maybe 20 minutes after they announced( On EN, which is larger) and we walked right on a tender and sat there until she was full. maybe another 10 or 15.
