Allure, western, starboard vs port

Hi

Most of the time I had an interior cabin but this time I'm going on the Allure western itinerary ( Cozumel -Jamaica - Haiti ) and I was wondering which side of the balconies you prefer and why.

On Allure and Oasis, we have chosen Starboard because (most of the time) that is the side that she docks on. That way, we can enjoy views of the islands when docked (at least that's the plan). :)

Well, I am just finishing up my review and in it you can see pictures from our room at every port!

 

100% Starboard side when doing the Western Itin. on Allure!

Just chiming in to agree - definitely Starboard, particularly for the views of Labadee as you come in. Gorgeous!! All of the action was on that side of the ship for our recent Western.

This forum is better than calling royal directly. Well I'm on deck 14 starboard I guess I made the right decision !!!

and if none become available don't fret over it. We have been both port and starboard on Allure (port western, starboard eastern) and had a great time on both. There are things to see on both sides of the ship and you are never guaranteed which side the ship will dock on or if there will be a ship next to you blocking your view.

 

If there is something on the opposite side of the ship you want to see just go to another deck and you will see it. It happens both ways.
