shoreham01 Posted July 26, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 26, 2013 Does anyone know what SLDO Savings means? We have received a new invoice/confirmation by email from Celebrity UK which shows a huge price reduction. This was not on the original confirmation when we booked on board last week for next years cruise. Incidentally, does anyone have a list of all the ridicuous codes that are used. How can we understand our documentation when they use codes that are impossible to decipher or even make an educated guess as to their meaning. It will be wonderful if they have given us such a huge discount (£768).

shoreham01 Posted July 26, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted July 26, 2013 Thats great, thanks for the information. I did do a search but I did SLDO instead of SLD0. Still have no idea why they use such undecipherable codes.
smoosh21 Posted July 27, 2013 #4 Share Posted July 27, 2013 Thats great, thanks for the information. I did do a search but I did SLDO instead of SLD0. Still have no idea why they use such undecipherable codes. It is so that they are only used by the right people. The people creating promotions with the CRM and ordering system want codes that are meaningful, but cryptic. They don't want every employee with access to customer accounts to start adding promotions. We do it all the time at work. The code would be something like JNA20 for July New Acquisition 20% off. It is supposed to be meaningful for those who are supposed to know it, but not really guessable like 20OFF would be.
