Complimentary Limo Service Info. Request

I can't believe I have missed this.....Just when you think you know it all

 

DAM CRS.........

 

I read about free limo before, then forgot, made a note, forgot to pursue.....

 

After all of the cruises on NCL in Haven Suites, I keep missing the Haven Suite Perk "Complimentary Liimousine Service From Pier To Airport" (fot Garden Villa Guests)

 

I have checked the NCL site and Googled to no avail, my first call to NCL was not helpful

 

My Questions:

 

** Is the service available from Manhattan Port?

** HOW and when do we reserve limo service to JFK for disembarkation day?

** Was the service seamless and successful? (usually use Dial7)

 

Any and all information is appreciated

 

Still can not believe I missed this perk :confused:

Wondering, too, if this is available for garden villa suites on NCL Pearl since we are booked in that for Aug 2014. Plan to fly home on disembarkation day and would save cab fare if provided. After what we are spending on the suite, they should give us that!

Had a great cruise on the Pearl! Have a wonderful time!

 

Not just saving cab fares......but lower my chronic disembarkation day stress:D

When I was in the Garden Villa on the Jewel, the Concierge made all the limo arrangements with me while on board. I didn't need to go to the airport as I was staying in LA one extra day.....and the limo took me to my hotel instead!! It was a fantastic ride! :cool:

It's only available if you are in the Garden Villa. It is not for all haven guests. The concierge will take care of making all the arrangements for you. You just have to tell them where you want to go.

Not sure what's available from Manhattan port, but I'm sure they would do something if not an actual "stretch limo", probably just a car service. In Barcelona, we were actually given a van for the four of us and our bags. It was arranged by the concierge on board a day or two prior to disembarkation. The concierge then escorted us down thru the terminal at our reserved time and met the driver with us..

 

Also, just to be clear, this is a perk for the three bedroom Garden Villas only, not the two bedroom Haven or Family Villas.. Are you saying that you have sailed in several Garden Villas and never been offered this service?? I find that terrible!!

The Jewel, Pearl, and Dawn have this service, it is setup by the concierge the last day. The Concierge will ask you how many "up to how many were booked in the GV" will be with you the time that you plan to depart the ship and where you need to go.

I believe that this perk is for any NCL ship with a GV.

In Manhattan they provided a large van Limo as we had to many pieces of luggage for the Stretch Limo.

On all the cruises that we had the GV the Concierge escorted us all the way into the terminal and handed us off to another person who escorted us through a separate line at Customs and out to the Limo.

We did not have to wait in any lines, I guess they wanted us out A.S.A.P.:D

We always stay in Penthouse and Owners Suites - We have our Concierge walk us off @ disembarkation, now we know why limo service has never been offered, but.....I will unwittingly inquire while on the ship, never hurts to ask, right? ;)

 

Disembarkation in Manhattan is controlled chaos, dial 7 is amazing, but a pre-arranged car (anything with wheels), in September, would certainly be wonderful.

Never hurts to ask...just prepared to hear "no"....

 

The couple in the other GV on my sailing asked if four of their friends could travel to the airport in the limo with them.....they were told that only those guests that are actually booked in a GV were able to go with the limo.

This service is also available if you are VIP with CAS. If you're VIP contact CAS and they'll set it up for you.....no matter what cabin you're in.

Oh goody, goody. Another perk I was not aware of but first time next year in GV. Will definitely use it. We will have 7 - 6 adults and 1 toddler so maybe not a stretch limo with all bags but still a great perk! Definitely plan to use it!

The service comes with all GV's. We had a van once and a limo all the other times. The van was not because we needed the room, I am assuming it was just what they used at that particular port. You do not have to do anything to arrange it. The concierge will get with you about flight times, etc.
