mafig Posted June 29, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 29, 2005 Have any of you ever gone on a Member Cruise? What special perks did you receive? Did you pay more or less for this particular cruise? Would you do it again?
M&M Hayden Posted June 29, 2005 #2 Share Posted June 29, 2005 We were on a member cruise on the Jewel earlier this year. There were about 1400 of "us" members. Each night every C&A members got a different gift. Refrigerator magnet, bath products, ball cap, eyeglass strap, "floatie" (comes in a round bag and "expands" when you take it out and you can float in the water), pens. I can't remember the exact numbers now but there were about 600 Diamond members. Diamond members were taken on a free shore excursion. For our cruise it was on St Maarten and we went to Orient Beach. In addition to the "normal" excursion we also got some free drinks (more than just "punch") while at the beach. There was a memosa (I KNOW I didn't spell that correctly) party, & another cocktail party for being Diamond. They had to open a larger concierge lounge because of the number of Diamond members. Cost was the same as any other cruise. We don't know if we would do it again because of the sheer number of Diamond members, although it was a very nice cruise. luvjftffc Posted June 29, 2005 #3 Share Posted June 29, 2005 how do you register for a member cruise?
M&M Hayden Posted June 29, 2005 #4 Share Posted June 29, 2005 You just have to have cruised with them before and be a member of C&A. You don't register, you just "show up". The member cruises are listed on their website and in the C&A book that they send out.
