Main dining room on port days

We leave on the Ecstasy on Sept 5th on a 4 day Bahamas cruise. We chose the early dinner option (6:00 I believe). How does dinner in the main dining room work on port days? We are in Nassau fom 12:00-8:00. I'd like to eat in the main dining room but i don't want to miss hours in port either. Thanks in advance!

That is the specific reason we enjoy late seating. It will be open as usual.

On the days you cant make it to the DR at six your choices are room service, buffet, grill, deli or pizza
