Speediest refund ever

We just found out on Monday that DH will have to testify in a trial that is expected to last for for 4- 6 weeks. It will interfere with cruises we booked on both the Caribbean Princess and the Royal Caribbean Navigator or the Seas. I immediately called my TA to cancel both cruises on Monday. She e-mailed me the cancellation numbers within minutes. When I checked my credit card online on Tuesday night the refunds from both Princess and Royal Caribbean were already in the pending transactions and by Thursday morning the full refunds had been applied to my account. That is the fastest I have seen a refund of a cruise deposit. Thanks Princess and RCI for the speedy refunds.

Unfortunately, the next window when we can travel will not be until May 2014 and I am anxiously awaiting the earliest date DH can travel in May so I book something. That trip will be our 40th anniversary trip.

Your TA is the one who deserves your thanks. I hope you can find a wonderful cruise for your 40th. Isn;t the 40th the Ruby Anniversary. The Princess Ruby would be a nice way to celebrate.
