Carnival's Port in Cozumel

I seem to remember that Carnival now has their own private port in Cozumel. We haven't been there since 2010 and we docked at Puerto Maya. Can anyone tell me if this is the same dock or is it a new one?

Yes, the pier was reopened in 2008 after a hurricane destroyed it in 2005.

Puerta Maya is indeed Carnival's pier.

 

Usually all Carnival ships dock there, unless more than 2 are there the same day. The occasionally the odd ship out winds up at Punta Lagosta pier in town. (obviously the big ships get preference, no matter what time they arrive.)
