Golden Princess Quad Rooms?

Astro Flyer

Recommended Posts

I've never had a quad room but we have one assigned for a cruise on the Golden Princess. It's an obstructed oceanview cabin (E501) & as I recall from reading posts some ships have the 3rd/4th beds recessed in the ceiling & others extend out from the upper side walls.

Does anyone know the setup for Golden Princess? In particular for the Golden's Emerald deck obstructed oceanview cabins?

If they protrude from the sides then we may wear a helmet to avoid bumping our heads when getting out of bed. :p

We were in E421 (OOV) on the Golden and I seem to remember the upper beds come down from the wall.

My kids were in a quad OV on the Plaza deck on the Golden a couple of years ago' date=' and the beds came down from the wall.[/quote']

Thanks for sharing your experiences. :)

We were on the Golden in April and had one of those rooms for 3-4 on the plaza deck and hated it! The beds were not in the ceiling, they hung down quite a ways and you had to duck to get into bed without banging your head. Never again for us unless we know for sure they are fully in the ceiling! You also have ladders to stow away also. If you had the extra people and needed the beds it would be ok I guess, but a circus to get ready for anything as these are small rooms!
