Crusing over Christmas

We will be on the Freedom for Christmas. My husband and I are taking our two daughters and my future son-in-law. I am so excited to not have to cook, bake, shop, wrap, or decorate. I think this may have to become a tradition.

OMG! I love Christmas but I really love the Grinch. Looking forward to having my picture taken with him :D

 

 

Do they post it in the Fun Times when they will make it snow in the atrium:confused:

NOTE; just found a couple of other posts that say they had snow Christmas Eve tine the atrium.

 

Last year, they started the snow the Friday after Thanksgiving. It was announced in the FunTIMES and happened twice a night.

It's very true about the ports on Xmas day. My hubby and I are going to be Barbados on Xmas Day with the Valor. I wanted to snorkle with the turtles that day. It took many phone calls and emails to find a company that would sail that day for the tourists. Make sure you plan ahead.

Last year we were on the Norwegian Pride of America through Hawaii during Xmas week. We had planned ahead and booked a tour guide for the day of Xmas in Hilo.He was happy doing it since he filled his van with cruisers that day.

Oh and the menorah lighting will take place in a couple of weeks with Thanksgiving...

How long do they keep the ship decorated after Christmas Day? We sail Dec. 26, I'm hoping the decorations are still there!

 

They should be. On my last cruise in January there were still decorations up even that late.

We will be on the Breeze for Christmas this year. Our first Christmas cruise. I will miss being with the family but due to DS being in high school it is the only time we can travel.

 

So looking forward to it.
