Blue Hole

I understand that this may be an odd question, but as I will be visiting Belize City in November I would like to know how far out the cruise ships anchor from the port. I ask only because I am curious if it is possible to see the Blue Hole that Belize is so famous for from the ship.

Most likely NOT. I think most ships would enter the Belize City area via the northern route, going around the Turneffe Atoll. If, depending on where they wer prior to Belize City, they came up from the south, they would most likely enter Belize's Inner Channel between the Glory and Columbus Reefs, which are well south of the Blue Hole.

This map might help show where things are.
