jeanlyon Posted August 15, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2013 I've just read on the P&O site that those going ashore independently have to wait until the first excursions have gone. Is that right in practice? There is one port where we want to get off straight away. If we go down with the excursion passengers will they check that we are on an excursion? Denarius Posted August 15, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 15, 2013 This is only the case at tender ports, where the coaches for early P&O tours are waiting on the quay and they need to get passengers on them and away on time. Does not apply when the ship is tied up at the quay. To get in the early tenders you need to show your tour ticket to get a ticket for the tender, you cannot just sneak on. carhirer Posted August 15, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 15, 2013 No such restriction on our recent Canaries cruise. We were docked.
