Found this excursion on their website...just wondering if anyone has done it already?

We are a group of 10...a few have never snorkeled and 2 are non-swimmers but willing to give it a try with the life jacket.....any info anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated!!!!

Has anyone gone on this tour? I'll be in st Thomas with a 14,20 & 21 year old boys and need to do something fun with them. We've been there before and usually did the beach looking for something different this time

I haven't, but some people at our dining room table did. They said that day was somewhat rough. They hit a couple waves, and thought - gee this it great. Then they hit one a little bigger and the wife bounced up and comes down and compressed two vertebrae in her back. They had medics show up, went to the hospital in St Thomas, and had to Med-E-Vac her to the states. We never saw them again. So, END of excursion, END of cruise, END of vacation. They were a pretty active couple, maybe they were horseing around with the miniboats - who knows.

 

Lots of folks take these excursions and it ends up being the highlite of their cruise. Ya never know.....
