sassy1995 Posted July 3, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 3, 2005 Just wondering if anyone has heard any difference between the day or evening whale watch out of Juneau? Any difference in the number or type of sightings based solely on the time of day? Would there be fewer whale watching boats out in the evening? Thanks. Rare Coral Posted July 3, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 3, 2005 According to Capt Larry - it doesn't matter. The whale sightings vary from day to day and from time of day. One day may be great in the morning and the next day may be great in the evening. Book whichever works into your schedule best.
CruiseIsGood Posted July 4, 2005 #3 Share Posted July 4, 2005 The only difference if you are going through the ship is that they put out a large appetizer spread (roast beef, smoked salmon, crab dip, hummus, cheese, etc), since you usually miss dinner. That's the only reason the evening whale watching is slightly more expensive.
