Luggage in Venice

There may be a huge queue at Piazzale Roma (bus station). We went to the railway station as an alternative. There was no queue and it was only a little more money than the bus station and the orient express was in. Of course we had to have pictures with the smart stewards and the couple in fancy costumes.

The train station is really out of the way unless you are going to depart by train. If you are headed to the airport, using the train station left luggage office requires dragging your bags across the bridge twice.

Information on hours and fees for the Piazzale Roma left luggage office can be found here (scroll to bottom of page): http://www.trasbagagli.it/en/index.shtml?services
