Luggage in Venice

We disembark at 8am in Venice but our flight isn't til late evening. What do we do with our luggage? Anybody had any experience of this? Trev

Store it for a fee at the baggage storage in PL Roma

There may be a huge queue at Piazzale Roma (bus station). We went to the railway station as an alternative. There was no queue and it was only a little more money than the bus station and the orient express was in. Of course we had to have pictures with the smart stewards and the couple in fancy costumes.

The train station is really out of the way unless you are going to depart by train. If you are headed to the airport, using the train station left luggage office requires dragging your bags across the bridge twice.

I love Venice so I would want to spend a few days there before heading home.
