I work in a hospital and have a wonderful administration. We have advocates who support our patients and help them deal with the difficulties, frustration and scariness of emergency medicine. We also have a great security team who has zero tolerance for rude or abusive behavior. We have medically cleared patients escorted off property daily for inappropriate behavior and currently have one in jail for assault for spitting on a caregiver. (No, the patient was not psychotic or under the influence or demented, just pissed cause they did't get their way.)

I do not believe the customer is always right, but I do believe everyone deserves to be heard and a complaint addressed. For the person who complains to get a free ride, they should be black balled by a company and not welcome to return.

I would be very supposed if the complaint was not addressed by Royal Caribbean JUST because the person was rude, but would not be surprised if it did not get elevated beyond a certain point because the person was rude. Bad behavior should not get rewarded.

You need to share more ???

I wish I could, but I don't know the details. In a recent thread, it was stated one of RCI's top cruisers, a very boorish couple, was confined to room, removed from ship, and maybe even arrested after a recent Alaskan cruise. That's all I know, sorry.

People get thrown off the ships and problems unresolved all the time. It seems it would take a special kind of problem to spark that release by Adam.

" we would not take further action on the matter"

Can you please tell me what this means? Does it mean to solve the matter or let it go because the PAX was nasty?

I´m not sure what kind of problem you have with what he said and what you don´t understand.

He clearly said he will not try any further to solve the complicated situation on the side of the passenger that had nothing to do with anything RCI did.

So in your words yes he let it go because the Pax was nasty.

Again IMO he is perfectly right to do so. This was, as stated by him, not a Problem on the side of the cruiseline, so no need for them to take further actions to protect other guests from the same situation.

Let's just say she laced me out about everything and let me know she was disputed everything on her credit card wasn't paying a dime for her rotten experience. Placed her on hold to talked to my supervisor when I went back on to talk to her I heard her explaining to someone this is what she does to get her vacations for free or next to nothing. Sadly to say this is more the norm now a days

That's a variation of what seems to be a common practice these days. People want something for an event, dress, tools, whatever then when the event is over they return everything for refunds because they don't fit, wrong type etc etc. Pure dishonesty. I've even seen it advocated on these boards too:(
