  1. B2B are each independent bookings. You have to reserve each cruise separately, you check in for each one, and at the end of each cruise your bill gets paid .
  2. We didn't dislike it, but we booked a cabin with a real balcony for our next cruise
  3. We absolutely love TAs, have one coming up in March, another one in October. The seas days are great, they offer extra activities and entertainment. Find a friend to go with you.
  4. It depends, if you are using a wash and fold bag for around $35 or free with your status, then everything comes folded, no option to be hung. If you send out a bag with a cost per item, they will come back ironed and on hangers. Each shirt costs around $5. If you did cost per item and they came back folded, I would have insisted on getting the service ID paid for. If it was option one, your cabin attendant went above and beyond.
  5. Look at Royal Caribbean's transfer option and see what's the earliest flight they will service. That will give you a good idea of what is realistic.
  6. I drop in on cruise line pages, even ones I've never sailed. OP's question of "have things changed" is a valid one especially if you are trying to decide between 2 different cruises.
  7. Mine got sent back once because I was using an older account statement, it has to be within the last 90 days. Otherwise, no issues.
  8. Yes, each cruise is treated separately, so you'll have to check in for each cruise. Since you have to choose a boarding time for the second cruise, although you won't need it, just choose a later time so others can come earlier.
  9. When it went to both people in a cabin had to get it ..
  10. Exactly, they said it was a violation of the PSVA, which it would have been if we went to Seattle. I just got bad advice
  11. Exactly, maybe that would be a good solution.
  12. Who knew I had such power to change corporate policy. But I can definitely say it wasn't I who got the drink policy changed.
  13. It depends on which representative you get. We were not allowed to do it but many others on the leg to Honolulu were allowed to keep going.
  14. Airlines just hold on to your money until you rebook. Unless you pay upfront to get 100% refund, and maybe at higher fare classes than I book, I know nothing above Comfort plus!
  15. I am one who used to do that, I'd have up to 12 cruises booked at a time and Is make up my mind whether I'd actually take that cruise just before the final payment. I understand why they changed the rules but every time I pay the $100 per person change fee it makes me a little nauseous. Still cheaper to do that than book closer to the date, however.
  16. On many ships that don't have enclosed pools for kids and sail in cold climates, they allow children for 2, 2 hour blocks a day in the enclosed pools. Not yet determined whether that will happen on Odyssey.
  17. You can cancel an excursion when you board, so long as it's 48 hours before the excursion. I've had luck when boarding to cancel an excursion for 2 days from then, but only 44 hours later. It then gets applied as an on board credit. If you don't use that OBC, it gets refunded to your original payment method.
  18. This is definitely a time you need a passport, if you miss the ship you will need a passport to fly to Bermuda.
  19. Because the cruise is leaving two days late, the cruise line is not living up to their part of the contract
  20. We are joining you. We wanted to leave out of Barcelona, it's 2 days longer and leaves a week earlier than the Apex our of Rome
  21. Orbitz. We just looked at round trip fares from LHR to BOS on American (we are going to use them on each end of a transatlantic) and one way was through the roof, much cheaper through a consolidator.
  22. We often eat in the specialty restaurants because we don't like the quality in the MDR and we prefer the quieter, smaller venues. The starters are all better, the quality of the meat is better, the lamb is a great treat. We love sushi and Izumi serves up a good to great product. The only thing in the MDR that is better is the wine selection and the desserts. We try not to eat dessert every night, but if we cannot find a dessert that suits us in the specialty restaurant, a quick trip to WJ solves that issue.
  23. Celebrity may have flipped from 20 years ago, but so have all the others (as well as society in general) but we really enjoyed our recent cruise on the Beyond, which made us decide to leave Royal.
  24. Cats still can't be used as service animals on the US under the ADA, although some states may have laws that allow it. There are also a few provinces in Canada which allow it.
