Roatan Adventure Tours has anyone been on a private tour?

Just wondering has anyone used Roatan Adventure Tours for a Private Tour package.

 

They have an option of paying cash on arrival with no deposit, :D and I was wondering if anyone booked them this way?

 

Also if their service is as good as Rony or Victors?:cool:

We have used Rony five times - fabulous every time! He does not require a deposit. He will make sure you have a great day!

We have a private tour booked for next month with Victor Bodden tours. We did not pay a deposit - will pay cash when we arrive in Roatan. We made the reservation last January. I don't know if perhaps the policy has changed and a deposit is now required? Also, if the ship skips the port for some reason, we will not be charged.

We usually use Roatan Culture Tours and we haven't paid a deposit. Last time the transport was arranged by Club Natale and we didn't pay a deposit then either. Always cash on the day.

The Rony you are referring to is he the one with Roatan Adventure Tours? Ron Rivers? I haven't yet decided if we should go with them or Victor. I have been emailing Ron Rivers and feel that I should stick with him but haven't yet done so.

Guess most of the tours don't require deposits, just seen paypal on their website for optional prepayment w/ credit card

 

Now to decide which one to take

I have been to Roatan but not used Roatan Adventure Tours. I used westbaytours and the service was excellent. I am not sure about the cash on arrival. You could check with them:info@westbaytours.com. phone numbers are on the site.

We went with Rony's Tours and had a great day. Happy to recommend Rony's.

Two years ago we booked Rony's Tours for a full-day private tour for 2 couples. Can't say enough good things about the day. Steve was an awesome guide and always made sure we were right on schedule, without ever making us feel stressed or hurried.

We let them know ahead of time what things we were looking to do, and they had the day planned for us. Did the Pirates of the Caribbean zip line (really fabulous!) and then to a small beach where most of the locals go to, plus a little shopping.

They are very personable, highly reliable (answer all your emails!), great fun and just want to make sure your visit is the best ever - and it was! We got way more for our money than what we paid.

Highly recommend Rony's.
