Norwegian Sun Balcony Partition

I am sure there are threads on this topic, yes I have used the search tool and with negative results.

 

So the question is, does the Sun's balcony partions open. (family traveling together with cabins right next to each other want to share each others balcony)

We had connecting cabins on Sun and could not figure out a way to open the balcony partitions.

Bumping this back up! We are considering NCL Sun for an Alaska cruise in 2014. We were able to figure out how to open the partitions on the Pearl with a screwdriver but I am curious if the Sun's partitions can also be opened.

A safety policy prevents the balcony partitions from being open except while in port. Then a room steward with the proper key device has to open them....and close them again before sailing again.
