Navigator Question

We will be cruising Regent Seven Seas for the first time this fall.

 

I was just checking some other fall itineraries and noticed that the Navigator is cruising from Montreal to Miami on Oct 23 and ends in Miami on November 7. The Navigator's next cruise is Miami to Miami starting on November 11.

 

Does anyone have any idea whats happening to the Navigator during the 3 days she'll be idle? It seems a little unusual for a cruise ship to have a "layover" like this - is this a Regent thing?

Regent does charter their ships and the Navigator is the most likely to be chartered due to its size. While I do not know for sure, my guess is that there is a long weekend charter.

I just got off the Navigator in SFO, the staff mentioned they have a few chapters coming up. They say the charters are very different for the staff. No one is up in the morning and everyone is up late partying!
