Hotel Between Cruises

Can't seem to find anything with a search but I thought I read that RCI will cover your hotel between two cruises. I have an overnight between Freedom and Enchantment cruises. I asked RCI about it and was advised they discontinued that a year ago. Anyone have any recent experience with this?

RC used to put you up in a hotel if you had 1 night between cruises. From what I had read a couple months ago here on CC, RC has discontinued it. We used is several times in the past. It was a really nice perk. RC is making many cuts, and this is another one of them.

You were given correct information, that policy has been discontinued.

Thanks. I tend to put more faith in the answers I get from folks on Cruise Critic than those of RCI customer service. Perhaps they were correct this time? :D

The baby is adorable.

We just caught the end of the free hotel in March. They changed it shortly after that. Love that they are putting us up in the Doubletree Gallery One for the night between the Oasis and the Allure.

We have received the same news.. Just received this message from our TA?

They comped the hotel room, which included breakfast, and the transfers from 1st ship to hotel and from hotel to 2nd ship.

After that we learned that it would no longer be available in the future.
Those who had already booked before they changed the policy were grandfathered in.[/SIZE][/FONT]
