cabins 8049 & 8042 on Quest

Does anyone have comments about cabin 8049 on the Quest? The deck plan shows the pool grill on deck nine, above the cabin. I do not like noise on the ceiling. However, it was the only cabin available with a veranda on that side of the ship.

 

If I change to 8042 on the other side, will the overhang from above be enough to shade the veranda in the morning during a westbound trans-Atlantic crossing in November?

Welcome... I start number 14 cruise today and have used both these cabins... The butlers are great.. And you can get what ever you want.

Likewise, just came out of 8058 and no noise to complain about.

 

You might find it has "rained" overnight when they wash the pool deck. No worries, the butler or stateroom attendants will wipe off the table and chairs when they service the room.
