hondorner Posted September 10, 2013 #26 Share Posted September 10, 2013 We rarely, if ever socialize with other passengers on our cruises. We like alone time together. We don't drink, and a LOT of mingling and meeting goes on while drinking...... We've found the best way to socialize and meet fellow passengers is to share a table at dinner. You don't have to do it every night (we enjoy a table for two, ourselves), but just tell the meaitre 'd you're willing to share, and they'll accommodate you. I have difficulty hearing the conversation at lager tables, so I always specify sharing at a table for 4. That way, we really get to know the other folks. nana541 Posted September 11, 2013 #28 Share Posted September 11, 2013 Just "Google" luxury travel agents and several large consortiums will come up. If you go to the website sites many will directly address the benefits of booking with them. They will list themselves as being specialists with lines such as Oceania, Regent, Silverseas, etc. I do agree that it is now to late to switch as the new TA won't get a dime as you booked more than 30 days ago. Have a great trip!
