Do you take your own snorkeling gear?

We always bring our mask and snorkels never use the fins.....we check our huge snorkel gear bag in with porter and they always get it to our cabin.. I believe we got these at sports authority. They are not cheap but we use them a lot and I try on the masks before I buy them :)

I bring my snorkel and mask and always bring my fins. I like my fins and manage to still get everything packed. Some snorkel operators have good gear including fins and some do not. I used to scuba dive and still use my mask, snorkel and fins. I had to get new booties though since my dive fins were not all in one. I think I still get charged for the gear rental as part of the excursion, but I tell myself it is worth it.
