Door signs?

Are door signs allowed on the MSC ships. We're doing a family reunion and I always like to decorate our doors.

My understanding is so long as the personal sign will not leave a permanent mark on the door, it's ok.

 

But beware, as on any cruise ship, such signs might got taken away by naughty kids. I think the famous Egon who spent almost a full year on MSC Poesia has his door sign taken away too (but was returned a day after he put out a notice looking for the sign).

We had a message board up on the Poesia earlier this year. We used magnets to keep it up. Unfortunately, for the first time ever, we had to take it down due to foul language and pictures being drawn on it. Never had an issue on any prior cruise, but there must have been some jerky kids on that one.

We were on Poesia for B2B Christmas and New Year last year. We put up decorations outside the cabin and on the door and had no problem at all (besides the occasional person thinking the candy canes were real and not decoration!)
