San Pedro eats in walking distance

I can recommend a quick family meal that wont break the bank at:

http://www.grinderrestaurants.com/index.html .

We stayed at the Crown Plaza and walked to there. They are even better for Breakfast!

I understand some might not speak well of it because it is a West Coast version of Denny's, but trust me -- it was WAY better!

We also liked: http://www.acapulcorestaurants.com/index.html . Mainly because they had good food and drinks, live Mexican music, and tables on the water front!

Lastly, I highly recommend anything on the menu at: http://www.nikospizzeria.com/ .

Again, we walked to all of these places from the Crown Plaza and got to see a lot of interesting things in San Pedro along the way! LOVE THAT LITTLE TOWN!

HAVE FUN!

:)

The OP is staying at the Doubletree, which is off 22nd Street....thus the above locations are not within walking distance of that. About 1.8 miles according to Google.

There is a place at Pacific and 19th, called the Burrito Factory - that is about 1 mile walk from the Doubletree. There is also a hamburger place, and a couple of small diner type places on Pacific. Outside of what I mentioned, and 22nd St. Landing, the pickings are pretty slim.

You may want to check with the hotel, and see where their shuttle van might take you to.

Although I haven't stayed at the Doubletree, reports are that they will shuttle you to restaurants, shops, etc.

Thank you everyone! We just returned from "The Green Onion" via Double Tree van and tomorrow we are walking to 22nd Landing via the marina.
