Piraeus Cruise Port - Bus 843 & 859

Port of Piraeus:

I know that in the past we could not purchase our bus tickets (#843 & #859) onboard the bus. As I recall, we had to purchase them at minimarts, kiosks, or news stands.

However, sometime this spring, I read an article that stated that bus tickets would soon be available for purchase aboard the buses for a small upcharge.

Does anyone know if this has gone into effect? Has anyone recently been able to purchase their tickets onboard the bus?
