delidan Posted September 15, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 15, 2013 Captain--Justin Lawes I have never met a nicer, friendly, Captian on any of my 14 trips on Princess. He was out and about the ship ever day. talked to ever he met. Staff Captian was Michele Bartolomei, also the the way. Maitre D. was Luigi Moretti. Sorry that's all I know. Cruisin' Chick Posted September 16, 2013 #5 Share Posted September 16, 2013 You might want to wait until you get the pre-cruise email. If you're planning to send invites for a meet and greet, maybe it'll be better to leave the name blank until you get on board, just in case there's a change (better than trying to write out a name). Rare trbarton Posted September 16, 2013 Author #6 Share Posted September 16, 2013 Thanks! I'm aware to wait until December 1st when Princess will have a complete list of names. Just curious who is there now. I'll be on the Grand on Tuesday for a BVE and perhaps will find out what they plan to do in dry dock besides adding balcony matts. iceleven Posted September 16, 2013 #10 Share Posted September 16, 2013 The morming we disembarked Captian Lawes said he'd see me in Dec. Must be going on vacation for Oct. and Nov. Yes, I asked him if he would be on our Thanksgiving cruise and he said that he would be on holiday himself, visiting with his family. We've cruised with him twice this year and he really is a nice gentleman. We were disappointed with the news but very happy he will be getting his well-deserved time with family.
