Coupon Help

I, like many others on this board, received my coupon for a forthcoming Bermuda cruise after I had booked. Having gone through my TA and talking with CC, they refuse to honor the coupon. I have been referred to customer service. Who can I talk to? Please help me.
This leaves such a bad taste in my mouth that certain people's coupons have been accepted but mine hasn't. I have the names of 2 people who didn't meet the date set on the coupon and Celebrity accepted their coupons.I don't want to cancel my cruise as my friend hasn't had a vacation in years. I would cancel and rebook but don't know how that would work with existing travel insurance. [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif[/img]

Reba..your TA hasn't helped at all? Hmmm.. We are on the same cruise ( I HOPE). I can email you my TA's name and number....I don't think the insurance should come into play...
but let me know if you want mine and Ruthann's....we booked together. I think maybe he can give you some advice at least[img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img].

Lois...My TA and I BOTH logged calls. Captain's Club said they did not authorize any coupon use other than specified restrictions (ie..within the booking date). They will not budge. I need the name of someone higher up in the chain of command. This should be resolved once and for all. What is fair for one paying passenger should be fair for another.

I agree....call Corporate In Miami...I have a number (its not toll free) try 305-539-6000.
See if your TA can get a Supervisor on the phone.
I would think your TA would have this number though [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif[/img]

My coupon for Zenith 9/25/04 was honored, and I booked weeks before the coupon arrived. No questions asked. Just sent it to my T/A and received a follow-up e-mail several days later indicating that they took $100 off.

Once again the cruise critic board has come to the rescue! I called corporate and talked with a wonderful lady who resolved the issue. When she discovered that several of my future fellow passengers had the coupon honored, she immediately corrected the situation. I am very delighted to report this.... The issues we all speak about is "Customer Service". Celebrity uses all the right words and they hope you will accept their responses carte blanche. I have sent Mr. Williams letters and have no responses. I am now booked on my 4th Celebrity Cruise and hope this time the service is better. As I did not book directly with Celebrity they seem to want to punish you. Our cruise leaves from Jacksonville and we asked Celebrity about pre hotel package. They said $79 per night that includes transporation to the ship. However when I called to book they would not do so saying I would have to go through my TA or the hotel directly. I called the hotel and got the pre package but at a higher rate than celebrity had quoted. Some service. The more things change at celebrity, according to them, the more they stay the same.

I will not give in however.

I spoke to a Mrs. Roy. However, I believe that if you call 1-800-5296918 and ask for the corporate office, you will get a resolution. This is the kicker: be armed with other people's names that are cruising with you and have received the discount having booked before the coupon came out. This was the only thing that made her see the inequity of the situation.

Did you call your TA ? Once you book with a TA the cruise line will not deal directly with you.

Cruise Ship
Your Name
Coupon Information including discount amount and coupon codes

To the following address:

They usually get back to you in 24 hours.
