Mar56 Posted September 25, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2013 This will be our second cruise on Carnival - on our first, we went with another couple and arranged to be at a 4 top for early dining. This time, we have late dining and are traveling just as a couple. We would very much like to sit with others for dinner. I understand that my card will show me my table assignment. Is there a schematic available at the dining room so that I can check to see if it's NOT a 2 top, so that I don't have to line up to check it out with the Maître 'D. We really enjoy meeting other people on our cruises, but didn't want to do my time dining this time as we really enjoyed the same table and same waiters last time on Carnival. I'd like to avoid that line up if possible, to change/find out as I'd rather be having my first DOD. Thanks in advance.
runner15km Posted September 25, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2013 Sometimes the dining room doors are open on embarkation, just walk in and look for your table.
crusinpsychRN Posted September 25, 2013 #3 Share Posted September 25, 2013 I've seen the schematic on Legend posted outside. If not, ask the person who is "organizing" the line outside, they usually have it or will get it.

SadieN Posted September 25, 2013 #5 Share Posted September 25, 2013 Sometimes the dining room doors are open on embarkation, just walk in and look for your table. We've gone in to look and many times the numbers aren't on the tables.
