Loonbeam Posted September 28, 2013 #26 Share Posted September 28, 2013 Pondering it, I do see one issue here. When you book a cruise tour, you pay X for the combination of tour and cruise. I do wonder how they will determine the refund amount for the cruise portion since they are not broken out. My first thought would be to use the price of the cabin class at the time the cruise was booked.
pablo222 Posted September 28, 2013 #27 Share Posted September 28, 2013 Just asking, why would you expect reimbursement for something you already used? Wow....looks like you want it all:eek: Well then, what about airfare? The poster used the airfare for the cruise tour; but presumed to use the airfare for the cruise and princess failed to deliver the cruise. What then, scrooge? I would be extremely happy with what Princess just gave me, considering that was very generous:)
Loonbeam Posted September 29, 2013 #29 Share Posted September 29, 2013 Princess accommodated that but offering a replacement airfare/travel option. Well then, what about airfare? I think old Ebenezer would have been jumping up and down in his tattered pjs to have received what Princess offered. Princess didn't "fail" to deliver the cruise, it failed to deliver the whole cruise - which the paxs are being reimbursed 100%. Greed is NOT good! The poster used the airfare for the cruise tour; but presumed to use the airfare for the cruise and princess failed to deliver the cruise. What then, scrooge? Princess delivered on 8 out of the 12 days of the cruise and also a full refund of the cruise fare plus 25% of the fare for future cruise credit. Not sure what you mean by "What then, Scrooge?" Getting 2/3 of the cruise for free and a bonus 25% in credit plus air fare home. I'll take that deal every time.
Julia’s Journey’s Posted September 29, 2013 #33 Share Posted September 29, 2013 If you completed the pre-cruise tour without incident, why are earth would you expect a refund? My faith in humanity shrinks a little every day. So true, my faith in humanity is barely there anymore:eek::eek::eek:
