A Christmas time cruise on X's newest ship should be bursting with guests.

Where is everybody hiding? My post today made for a total of 12,only two months out.If your coming please show yourself on the Roll Call, we promise not to bite:)

We cruised Xmas 2 years ago. Roll call was very slow also..I assume it is because the holiday cruises attract nontypical cruisers that aren't aware of cruise critic.

Perhaps a lot of families are doing the cruise and that is contributing to a slow Roll Call.

I am envious , I wish I was coming I'd join your Roll Call in a flash.

I also think that a new ship attracts new customers.

Are you Elite?

I know a lot of people don't like this term but this August was our ' first time ' as Elite and there was less than 100 Elite on board the Reflection. Michael's club was just like a private party which went on for 11days. We got to know the few who attended and it was brilliant.

Actually apparently it is VERY full. We were looking to book this today - needed 2 cabins - 1 handicapped if possible and they had nothing that would really fit our needs - so we are going on the Silhouette on the 22nd.

Funny, we have sailed over the holidays for many years but this is the first almost silent roll call I can remember.

The prices went lower for a few days last week, we got the state resident rate

( no "perks " though) which made the cost far more reasonable. The airfare on the other hand...

We are a small % of those on a cruise. 2400-2600 pax and an active Meet n Greet is 40-60 an Roll call is 30-40. We sailed the RCCL Freedom in 2011 with well over 4000 pax and had a large M&M with 70+ that showed up for the group pic. Prices say you will sail very full.
