Government shut down ????

 

Is the shut down of the American government going to affect cruises in the States ??? :confused: :confused:

 

We are going on 2 cruises starting in two weeks

1. Quebec to Fort Lauderdale

2. Eastern Caribbean

 

Any thoughts thanks

So far, no effect on cruises.

It will have no effect. Customs will continue working.

No!!! Just got off Oasis on Saturday. I was off the ship, at the airport, thru security and at the gate by 6:50am:D

We really didn't need any problems with customs coming all the way from Australia .... But I do hope it gets sorted out soon

Only if you are waiting on a passport application to be processed prior to a cruise.

The only thing it might affect is your excursions. Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor is closed if your ship is going there.

That is a good point. I wonder how this is affecting St Johns in the USVI. Moseying over to the Ports of Call portion of this website.

St Johns national park area beaches are also closed, so excursions are being canceled to national park areas.
