Sailing on NCL Star from LA/return via air from Miami Can I just pack it up into luggage as opposed to carrying it around?

thanks

I always keep mine in my carry-on luggage. What would happen if your luggage gets lost?

Always carry them on for DH and me. Too expensive for them to be thrown around. We also tell the TSA agent to use fresh gloves if they have to check the machines out and use a fresh pad. The first time we flew a very nice agent told us to do that.

We've flown with one a number of times both in the US and in Europe....no problem. We carry it on as we want it to be there at the other end undamaged. We haven't even had it checked by TSA, they all know what it is and just put it through x ray with the other carry ons. We bought a special bungee cord device to secure it to the top of our rollaboard, as it is kind of heavy to carry around for awhile.
