Singles to get Double Points

Recommended Posts

I agree about the monster completely. I am in favor of singles getting double points when charged 200% singles sup. Other than that, let the games begin. When you can turn a 5 night cruise into 20 points some will not be able to resist.

How can you get 20 points for 5 nights ???

IF it was possible to get 20 points for 5 nights,I would not be able to resist(because you can't)......unless I'm missing something:confused:

My guess is that the poster is assuming 10 points for a suite, and double for single. I don't think it will work that way. I think it will be one extra point per night for the suite and one extra point per night for the single, so 15 points.

I think the wording DOUBLE is confusing some.....it should really be one extra credit per night.

Right.......as a single you can't. However as a couple you can.

I thought you could read between the lines:eek::):D:p

I guess I should call them credits and not points.

I agree. It's so rare for Royal to use confusing wording.;)

In their defense,I wasn't told double points(not sure if anyone else was).......my email from them said extra point.....

I just think people on here are throwing around the "double" word(which is fine for a non suite),but does not apply to a suite.

Good Morning,

After my glass of wine and a good nights sleep I called C&A. I just wanted to thank everyone for you advice, after speaking with C&A I now have double points for my JS on the Allure.:) Actually it is triple, as it was in the month of December. Also, the C&A rep did say you WILL get double points for a solo traveler on the QOS and triple if you are in a JS or higher. I believe someone had asked this question. You have to like all the help and advice you get on these CC boards. Thanks again and have a great day everyone.

Kathy, I am pretty sure you have read every post on this subject and I do know you are a very smart person and a TA to boot.

I doubt very much I have to explain it to you.

OK, explain it to me :)

My apologizes:o:o. I completely lost my mind for a brief time. It can't be done.

I love social media. I've been told on a C&A FB page : 'I just heard from a very reliable source that this is strictly rumor, no truth to it.'

Got to chuckle.

I saw that too. Not sure that I believe that after all the other items I've seen. I was going to comment but decided it wasn't worth it. I'll just "Like" your post there instead.:)

So you are saying all the solo people reporting getting double points for the Sept 22nd sailing on Allure are mistaken:eek::eek: and there was quite a few of them.

OHHHHH FB is saying that and not you. I read it wrong at first.

Royal has not made any announcements with regard to replacing or continuing the December event.

"

Q. Will there be a program to replace the double diamond in December? Or have we just lost out on this program? Thank You. -William P.

A. Hi, William. The December Celebration was a limited promotion provided to our top Crown & Anchor Society tiers over the past years as an extra reward to guests who were cruising. Here at Royal Caribbean, we are always thinking of ways to recognize our most loyal guests as we value your membership within the Crown & Anchor Society. Rewarding you and earning your loyalty over the years is something we strive for every day. Stay tuned for exciting programs we have planned."
