christinelee Posted October 9, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 9, 2013 Does anyone have a link to the Room Service Menus? All Menus are here: (Suite room service menus are the same as dining room menus.) http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1887473
Rare Paula_MacFan Posted October 9, 2013 #3 Share Posted October 9, 2013 Here's a link to ROOM SERVICE MENUS http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1595930&highlight=room+service+menu It's from a 2012 post, but it looks the same to me as our cruise earlier this year on the Crown (Jan 2013)
hrob777 Posted October 9, 2013 #4 Share Posted October 9, 2013 I would highly recommend the Club House Sandwich.
Rosefloater Posted October 9, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted October 9, 2013 Thanks. I knew I saw the menus somewhere, but couldn't find them.
Rare cr8tiv1 Posted October 9, 2013 #6 Share Posted October 9, 2013 Second vote for the club sandwich. Better than the one they serve in the MDR. Plus...Room service is the only place you can get a "real" chocolate cake!
Love.II.Cruise Posted October 9, 2013 #7 Share Posted October 9, 2013 As silly as this sounds, try the peanut butter and jelly! I know it's simple, but it is good. :-)
UpcountryTravelers Posted October 10, 2013 #8 Share Posted October 10, 2013 That's really the only problem I have with Princess. After 9 cruises, the room service is really boring! Nothing really new, and limited selection. Our January Celebrity cruise was a welcome change, as their menu is much broader - many more selections. musicmom3 Posted October 10, 2013 #9 Share Posted October 10, 2013 Don't forget, you can order anything off the nightly dining room menu if you call during reasonable hours. We enjoyed several room-service dinners on our recent transatlantic cruise on the Emerald--room service staff was incredibly efficient and professional, and the food always arrived more quickly than estimated, too. Were you in a suite? Because I've never heard of this being possible in any other category of cabin. If so, then you might want to remember to mention that in your posts, as suite guests have singular perks and referencing them as though they're standard service can confuse and mislead newbies. And oldbies.

If so, then you might want to remember to mention that in your posts, as suite guests have singular perks and referencing them as though they're standard service can confuse and mislead newbies. And oldbies. We were in a mini-suite and first-time Princess cruisers, so no perks. We just called and ordered as we have on other cruise lines during dinner hours. The room service rep had the dinner menu right there and didn't seem surprised in any way when we called. Many were doing this, snapping pictures of the posted dinner offerings, perhaps because the anytime diners often had up to a 45-minute wait. There was never an inference that this was not customary.
