CruisinSunBunny Posted October 13, 2013 #27 Share Posted October 13, 2013 Good to know these dishes are available as "off menu" items to be ordered by any one on any sailing. We love linguini e vongole !I wouldn't be quick to assume it's an item you can just order if you ask. She was the captain's wife, afterall. Her special request carries a bit more weight than your typical passenger. That said, I'm totally going to ask for it. :D Politely, of course. Sparky2 Posted October 13, 2013 #28 Share Posted October 13, 2013 2nd that! I hope I get that on our upcoming Dec 1, 2013 Breeze 6 days W. Caribbean. A couple of years ago when we ordered the banana split, our waiter said, "You can't order that". I said, "Oh, yes, we can. It's on the children's menu." Guess we were the first of his adult guests who ever asked for it.

mcbridedori Posted October 13, 2013 #30 Share Posted October 13, 2013 We have asked for Indian Butter Chicken on every cruise and every cruise line. We always get it and sometimes a visit from the chef asking what other Indiana dishes we like.
