kotor, our lady of the rocks

Recommended Posts

Hi, for those of you who have been to Kotor, Montenegro, I'm wondering if there are boats available to take you to Lady of the Rocks? We will be there in very late November, & while I don't want an all day tour I'd love to be able to take a short scenic boat ride & visit the church. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

P.S. DH & I are very experienced boaters, if there are small boats to rent for an hour or so, that would be fine too.

Well, I did a little research & found the answer to my own question, so I'll post it here for anyone who needs it in the future:

It's a twenty to thirty minute bus ride from Kotor to Perast, bus stop is at the end of the open air market thats across street & to the left when you exit ship, 2 to 3 euro for ticket. when you get to Perast you pay anywhere from 5 to 10 euro each for boat trip to Our Lady of the Rocks.

I'm going to post my planned itinerary for Kotor on a sep. thread, & would appreciate any tips, or critique.
