Bon Voyage experience - park or taxi?

We are doing a Bon Voyage experience next month in Fort Lauderdale. We will have a rental car but are wondering whether we should use the cruise parking for 4 hours or take taxis. Any input would be helpful.

Since you already have a car, it would be much easier and cheaper to park at the port.

If you decide to park enter the port at the 17th st. entrance & the parking & ship are on your 1st left.
This depends on how many princess ships are in port on that particular day. Also, the poster mentioned 'next month'. If it's during the boat show, I would avoid 17th street at all costs, as there will be heavy traffic entering there for the convention center.
