Day pass miami

Have very long layover in Miami. Have any suggestions for hotels offering day passes? Other suggestions how to spend the day much appreciated. Thanks

There is a hotel located inside the MIA airport - cleverly called the Miami Airport hotel - that will offer day pass rates, but it does not have a pool if you were looking for that.

 

The Sofitel near MIA often offers day pass rates, has free airport shuttles, does have a pool, as well as a local strip mall nearby with dining options.

 

You could also store your bags at MIA for a fee and take the airport flyer bus to South Beach for $2.35 each way. Beach, people watching, dining, shopping, nightlife, etc. http://www.miamidade.gov/transit/library/airport_flyer_brochure.pdf
