lockers at Chankanaab dolphin encounter

Can anyone give more information on the lockers at the dolphin encounter in Chankanaab? Size, do I need my own lock, distance from the encounter, etc. How secure are they?

The lockers are at the bathrooms not far from dolphin encounter area. You do not need your own lock. They were large enough to hold a beach type bag and purse. Very safe.

Are there plenty available or is it first come first served, too bad so sad? What is the cost? TIA!

It's been 3 yrs but I'm pretty sure the lockers were included in the admission price. They were first come, first served. But no problems getting one. We were there with 5 other ships in port and it was not crowded at all.

So glad I was lurking and happened upon this thread. I'll be there in 12 days. Good news about the locker situation.

 

Is there an area to change into dry clothes???

Yes, there are areas to change. No problems at all. Great facility and amenities.

Lockers are located right in front of the dolphin/manatee swims inside the open part of the building. They are the type that you would see at a public pool; you put your stuff in, you turn the key, it locks and you put the twisted plastic wrist band on for safety while swimming. :D
