The ships that we have been on all have had soft serve ice cream machines. They opened them up around noon and they closed about 9 or 10. Flavours varied by day and time of day with vanilla, chocolate, strawberry or the twist being available.

You can find the soft ice cream machines in the windjammer and also on the pool deck either port or starboard side depending on the ship.

Yes you can find strawberries to pour over your waffles. I did that on a couple of mornings and it was good. At lunch time I make my own Sundaes with the strawberry sauce. It's good

I remember they had it one afternoon in the Windjammer, we only had dinner once in the Windjammer and they did not have it.

We eat in the WJ far more than we ever get to the MDR. I have never seen Creme Brulee offered there. They often have deserts and entrees that the MDR does not offer though. Other really good things like shrimp and lobster are not seen in the WJ. They do sometimes have shrimp or bits of lobster as part of another entree though.

Soft serve machines typically serve frozen yogurt, not ice cream.

 

Radiance class typically have them in the WJ, other ships have them are in various locations.

On Radiance they are in the WJ, Voyager class outside the WJ, other ships by the pool and Allure/Oasis up by the B.Courts. It is a hunt to find them.:D

I was on the Allure last week. They are in the Wipeout Cafe. None in the Windjammer. They were serving ice cream a night or two in the Windjammer but not soft serve.

On the Explorer last week, they served 'real' ice cream along with the extra toppings in the WJ every evening. They had two tubs, vanilla every night and the other nights varied between chocolate and strawberry.
