Drink Prices

If I go to a standard restaurant, Applebees, Kelseys, Boston Pizza, etc, I'm paying$6, $7 a beer, plus tax and tip.

Those are pretty "everyman" you're restaurants to me...

At my hole in the wall pubs I can grab a beer plus tax and tip for $5 total. So while I don't think the drinks are cheap, I find them quite reasonable. I'm thrilled with the wine by the glass prices. It's rare at a restaurant to find a good selection for under ten bucks.

For me, it's not so much the drink prices, but the loss of the "large" pink and yellow Carnival cups. I really missed those on my last cruise. :( Now there are just small clear cups and the use to be "small" (now large) clear Carnival Cups.

I know, it's silly, but I really liked those colorful glasses. :p

The main problem I have with Carnival drinks is that they are weak! Yes, I have seen some post where some have said how strong they are and I wonder which ship they were sailing on. BTW, I am not a big drinker, I have had a 750 ml bottle last nine months.

Wow, I never had a weak drink , so far. Have had several weak drinks on RCCL.
