tallvine Posted October 28, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 28, 2013 can someone explain to me how the "free onboard credit works" we recd a $200 per cabin onboard credit when booking the Oasis - does it get applied as a "debit" to our seapass account? can it be used at the bars or just in the retail shops on the ship? It will be applied as a credit to your onboard account and will generally show up the second day of your cruise. It can be used for gratuities, drinks in bars, specialty dining, onboard shopping etc and so forth. :)
Merion_Mom Posted October 28, 2013 #3 Share Posted October 28, 2013 As ryano said, it is applied to your SeaPass account. ANYTHING that you charge on board will go on that account. The OBC will decline in balance as you charge things, until it is used up. :)
TBone2K Posted October 28, 2013 #4 Share Posted October 28, 2013 Yes, you basically start with $200 sitting in your account. You can use it for whatever you want.
Trekker954 Posted October 28, 2013 #5 Share Posted October 28, 2013 And if you still have money on it towards the end of your cruise, you can go to the casino and ask for cash. The casino charges 5% fee for cash and they will only give you certain denominations back, there is a minimum, but I'm not sure if its $10 or $20.
