kaeffe Posted October 30, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 30, 2013 We will be in Roatan on Christmas day (husband, self and 17 yr old son). We would love to do something special. Would love to see the island, eat some local food, some beach time, and would love something special for our son like swimming with dolphins, ziplining, or just something a 17yr old boy would like (we may just watch). Any and all suggestions are appreciated. Hopefully there will be things to do on Christmas day!!!
runner15km Posted October 30, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 30, 2013 You may be limited with options with private tour vendors,it may be best to book with Carnival.
Rare crewsweeper Posted October 30, 2013 #3 Share Posted October 30, 2013 Since tourism is a big revenue earner for many local residents, you may find a variety of venues open. Especially the beaches and restaurants. Contact Victor Bodden or Rony Tours and see what they suggest. Head out to your roll call and see what others are doing. Private tour operators will give discounts to larger groups (4 or more). Shopping may be hit or miss outside the cruise port (Mahogany Bay for Roatan).
