Luggage Valet

We are planning on using the luggage valet. I read there might be a problem with early flights. Does anyone know what is the time restriction ? We have a 10:50 flight. I hope this isn't a problem.

Luggage valet in MIA I think says you need a 2pm or later flight. Fort Lauderdale, not sure, but assume it's similar.

 

I was on Connie relier this year in MIA, and couldn't use it as my flight was at 1:30.

 

I also think they only offer the service with a minimum number of participants if I recall reading the application correctly back then.

What is the Luggage Valet service?

Luggage Valet streamlines and simplifies your return home after your cruise is over. Enroll onboard at Guest Relations for a fee of $20 per person (for two pieces of luggage per person). On the final night of your cruise you'll receive an envelope with debarkation instructions, airline boarding passes, luggage tags and baggage claim checks. Simply place your luggage outside your stateroom door and don't think about it again until you pick it up at your final destination airport. Available in select ports and on select airlines.

Luggage Valet* is a convenient service that helps make your return travels as carefree as your cruise. On the final night of your cruise, you'll receive debarkation instructions, airline boarding passes, luggage tags and baggage claim checks. Yes but not for morning flights. I think that flights have to be after 2:00 or so

I just called Celebrity and was told that Southwest Airlines does participate in the Luggage Valet service. We'll be arriving at the POM, but flying out of FLL in the early evening; the CSR said it will work fine to do the valet service. Cost seems good too - $20 for 2 bags. My friend and I each will have 1 bag, so just $10pp. That will enable us to spend a good portion of the day in the South Beach area before flying home. :)

Yes that will work as long as you fill out the form on the ship as one person. Don't say 2 are participating.

They also do your boarding pass so it might not be possible to double up.

Also would change airline baggage fees if check two bags.
